VICTOIRE HIROSHIMA
The orange team featuring powerful punchers and rouleurs
Founded in 2015 as the first professional team in the Chugoku-Shikoku region under the slogan “From Hiroshima to the world,” Victoire Hiroshima takes its orange team color from Hiroshima’s iconic maple leaves.
Until last year, the team built its roster around climbers and targeted overall results in week-long stage races.
In 2026, with a focus on punchers and rouleurs, it is aiming for stage victories while also taking overall wins in shorter multi-day events.
The team’s core riders are Australian Luke Burns, who won the overall at the 26th Tour de Kumano this season, and Elliott Schultz, who won last year’s Oita Urban Classic Road Race.
Fourth-year rider Leonel Quintero is also an excellent sprinter and can target victories on almost any course except the toughest high mountains.
Daiki Magosaki, who is currently battling for the overall lead in the J Pro Tour as of June 2026, has excellent race awareness and tactical skills and will look for opportunities in sprints.
Attacker Yusuke Kubota is likely to make his move from the early stages of the race.
