China’s powerhouse team closing in on the top spot in Asia
Li-Ning, the major sports brand founded by former gymnast and Olympic gold medalist Li Ning, serves as its main sponsor.
In recent years, the team has strengthened its roster by signing former UCI WorldTeam riders and accomplished riders from Europe and Australia.
In the 2025 season, it ranked second in the UCI Asia Tour team rankings.
Nils Sinschek, who won two stages at this year’s Tour de Kumano and came close to taking the overall title with his powerful solo riding, is among the team’s key riders.
Cameron Scott, formerly of a UCI WorldTeam and known for his speed, Luke Magway, a former UCI ProTeam rider, Callum Johnston, and sprinter Alexander Salby, who shows explosive acceleration on flat roads, give the team plenty of firepower on fast courses.
On stage races featuring demanding climbs, Argentine Eduardo Sepúlveda, who spent 13 seasons with top European teams, serves as the ace.
The team will likely be active at Mynavi Tour de Kyushu 2026 as it seeks to become Asia’s No. 1 team.
