Having conquered Asia, the team now has its sights set on the world
A UCI Continental Team led by former F1 driver Ukyo Katayama, who has an extraordinary passion for cycling.
It ranked first in the 2025 UCI Asia Tour and is aiming for “the first Tour de France appearance and podium finish by a Japanese-licensed team.”
The team ace is Tommaso Dati, who beat Tom Pidcock in a sprint at the ProSeries Tour of the Alps this spring.
He followed that with three stage wins and the points classification at Tour of Japan 2026.
A 23-year-old (24 at Mynavi Tour de Kyushu 2026) puncher capable of handling climbs, he is rumored to be on track for a move to a WorldTeam in the near future.
If he takes the start, he will certainly be a contender for the overall title in Kyushu.
Other strong Italian riders, including Niccolò Garibbo, Federico Iacomoni, and Simone Raccani, who have also won stages at the Tour of Japan, will target stage victories.
Japanese talents such as Yoshiki Terada, Tetsuo Yamamoto, and Kazushige Kuboki should also feature in the battle for stage wins.
