An Australian team featuring speedsters and promising young riders
Founded in 2010, this Australian UCI Continental Team has become a familiar presence in Japan through its active participation in UCI Asia Tour races.
The roster includes many young Australian riders aspiring to become top professionals, with a number of riders having track-racing backgrounds.
The team’s key riders in the 2026 season are 28-year-old Alastair Christie-Jones, who has been in strong form this season, and sprinter Liam Walsh.
Both have won stages at this year’s Tour de Gyeongnam.
Walsh possesses the sprinting power to win UCI 1-class races in Europe and will be one to watch in bunch sprints at Mynavi Tour de Kyushu, even against a field packed with WorldTeams.
Nineteen-year-old Oscar Gallagher, a stage winner at Tour of Japan 2026, is another emerging star.
He can survive on rolling courses and produce a sharp sprint, so if the race becomes too selective for Walsh, Gallagher could be the team’s stage-winning option.
Matthew Greenwood, who spent time in a WorldTeam development program before returning to this team this season, is an all-rounder capable of challenging for a high overall placing thanks to his climbing ability.
