Asia’s Powerhouse Sprinters Make Their Mark
A new UCI Continental team from the Philippines, founded in 2023.
Mostly composed of Filipino riders, the team relies on foreign riders for results.
Dutch sprinter Jeroen Meyers and Brazilian Nicolas Sesler, who have UCI ProTeam experience, both raced in Kyushu last year.
Meyers, who won bunch sprints in Indonesian stage races this season, placed in the top 10 in all stages last year, showing good compatibility with Kyushu.
Marcelo Felipe, 35, won his first career national championship this year, leading the promising riders Hudegabriel Francesco, solo specialist Nicole Pareja, and sprinter Ean Kajukom.
