TERENGGANU CYCLING TEAM トレンガヌ・サイクリングチーム
(CT / Malaysia)
Established in 2011 by the state government of Terengganu, Malaysia, and ProAsia Sports Management, this team has reigned as Asia's top Continental team. In recent years, they have held the No. 1 position in the UCI Asia Tour in 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
The team’s ace is Eritrean Merhawi Kudus, who spent eight years on a WorldTeam until last year. This year, he finished second overall at the Tour de Kumano, and seventh overall at the Tour of Japan. In July, he won a stage and claimed overall victory at a stage race in Indonesia. Supported by strong teammates like Anatoliy Budyak (Ukraine), Metkel Eyob (Eritrea), Muhammad Nur Aiman Mohd Zariff (Malaysia), and Youcef Reguigui (Morocco), the team is highly competitive.
Be sure to look out for the national champion jerseys worn by Malaysian champion Nur Amirul Fakhruddin Mazuki and Cypriot champion Andreas Miltiadis.
