We will participate in the 63rd “Hakata Dontaku Port Festival” as “MyNavi Tour de Kyushu 2024”!
Starting at 3:06 PM on May 3rd (Wednesday, a national holiday), we will march in the procession with over 100 participants, including representatives from MyNavi Corporation, our event partner.
The parade lineup includes VC Fukuoka cyclists, theFukuoka University Cheerleading Team, VC Fukuoka Team Car, K-Robot Cycling Team, Japan Airlines representatives, Beppu City PR Team, MyNavi Corporation members, Suntory Foods Corporation representatives, IT4 Corporation members, All Nippon Airways representatives, Miss International Akari Ueda, “MyNavi Tour de Kyushu 2024” cheerleaders, mascot Kumamon as the cheerleading team captain, Fukuoka Trans Co., Ltd., representatives from Okagaki Town Hall, participants from the Munakata Miare Festival, Munakata City Industrial Policy Division, Munakata City Zero Carbon City PR (Tenchann and Ikachan), and representatives from Nishi-Nippon Railway Co., Ltd.’s Cycle Bus “CYCLE CARGO.”

VC Fukuoka is a locally rooted professional cycling road race team based in Fukuoka City. They are contributing to the excitement of the MyNavi Tour de Kyushu 2024.

With their natural energy and youthfulness, they will bring excitement to the parade!

Representing the starting point of this event, Beppu City in Oita Prefecture.
They will promote “Oita, the Hot Spring Prefecture,” with original wooden barrels and hand towels.
The tourism PR catchphrase of Oita Prefecture, “Onsenken Oita” (Oita, the Hot Spring Prefecture), and the logo mark of a barrel with hot water. It depicts a charming and distinctive figure with a hand towel draped over the body of the barrel, with the steam rising spelling “OITA”.

◆ “Miss International Japan 2024 Representative” Mei Ueda
In the competition to select the representative for the Miss International World Competition, Mei Ueda shone brightly, clinching the prestigious first place out of 32 candidates.
On the day of the event, she will make her appearance riding in an open car!
Mei Ueda (Mei Ueda) / Hometown: Uto City, Kumamoto Prefecture
She graduated from the Department of Food and Health Sciences at the Faculty of Environmental Coexistence (now the Department of Environmental Coexistence, Majoring in Food, Health, and Environmental Studies) in March 2021.
While working as a home economics teacher at a high school in Kumamoto Prefecture, she challenged herself to participate in the competition, and she currently balances her career as a teacher with her activities as a model.
She is also active as a Kumamoto Prefecture Ambassador!

He will make his appearance riding in an open car on the day of the event!

Representative: Sayuri Soga (Former NFL Cheerleader)
Former NFL cheerleader Sayuri Soga will lead a team of four members to participate in the parade!
Each of the four members will wear a leader jersey representing the Best Overall Time Award, Points Award, Young Rider Award, and Mountain Award!
◆ The “MyNavi Tour de Kyushu 2024” Tournament Trophy
Produced by the plating company Kyushu Denka Co., Ltd., crafted and engraved by the master artisan Masaharu Inoue (from Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture), also known as THE Ironman, and processed by Kyukyo Co., Ltd. for the mirror portion. This trophy was jointly manufactured by these three companies and graciously donated to the tournament.

The Miare Festival, held in Munakata, the venue for the Fukuoka stage, is a festival held to express gratitude for the nation’s peace, abundant harvests, maritime safety, and bountiful catches.
We will use the actual big catch flag from the festival during the parade!

◆ Munakata City – a “Zero Carbon City”
Munakata City declared itself a “Zero Carbon City” during the 8th Munakata International Environmental Conference and has been actively implementing policies aimed at achieving a decarbonized society.
On the day of the event, “Munakata’s Ten-chan” will also be joining us!

The conspicuously yellow-bodied Cycle Cargo bus from West Japan Railway is sure to make for some perfect photo opportunities!
