Disaster relief funds for areas affected by the July 2023 torrential rain

On Thursday, January 11th, Reiwa 6 (2024) at the Fukuoka Prefectural Government Office, we presented the proceeds from the sale of admission tickets to the paid viewing area at the tournament, as well as donations collected through LINE check-ins during the event.

At the presentation ceremony, Mr. Horie, Director of the Tour de Kyushu Association (Executive Managing Director of the Kyushu Economic Federation), handed over a certificate to Vice Governor Oomagari of Fukuoka Prefecture.

Mr. Horie expressed, “We hope this contribution will be of assistance to the disaster-affected areas, and we pray for their swift recovery and reconstruction.”

The funds are scheduled to be sent to aid municipalities within Fukuoka Prefecture that have been affected by the disaster.
