The Great Success of the 3rd Edition, and Onward to the 4th.

Last October, the 3rd edition, “Mynavi Tour de Kyushu 2025,” was held with Class 1 certification from the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). A total of 106 riders from 18 teams (across 20 countries), including top-division “World Teams,” raced through the land of Kyushu.

Additionally, over 100,000 spectators gathered along the routes to witness this world-class race firsthand.

The 4th edition, “Mynavi Tour de Kyushu 2026,” will kick off with the Sasebo Criterium in Nagasaki, followed by 3 stages spanning 6 prefectures: Saga/Fukuoka, Oita/Kumamoto, and Miyazaki.

This year’s event also features the confirmed participation of UAE Team Emirates XRG, currently ranked No. 1 in the UCI World Rankings (as of August 2026). The world’s top riders will dash through your local towns and the beautiful natural landscapes of Kyushu.

Under the slogan “For those 4 days, Kyushu becomes another world,” this is more than just a sporting event. As a forward-looking initiative, we will promote the beautiful nature and culture of Kyushu domestically and internationally, contributing to the promotion of cycle tourism and the spread of cycling culture in Kyushu.

A Memorable “Kyushu Festival”

During the days when world-class athletes race through Kyushu, the ocean, mountains, cityscapes, and the cheers of the people gathered along the routes unite, enveloping all of Kyushu in excitement and emotion. Tour de Kyushu is not just a sports event.

We aim to grow it into a “Kyushu Festival” that links various parts of Kyushu and connects people and communities.

We will foster a circle of participants in various forms, such as “enlivening the festival together” or “traveling to Kyushu to watch the festival.”

Through PR activities and participation in local events to promote this regional “festival” centered on an annual bicycle race, we aim to showcase Kyushu’s charms and boost tourism, hoping to welcome many tourists and cyclists to Kyushu.

An annual “celebration” brought to life through the thrill of cycle road racing.

We are carving out this history.

EXHIBITION Sasebo Criterium | Friday, October 9

A criterium consisting of 30 laps around an approximately 1.5km course near Sasebo Station and the “Sasebo Gobangai” commercial facility.

Experience world-class speed right before your eyes.

STAGE 1 Saga-Fukuoka | Saturday, October 10

A roughly 152km line race starting at Hado Cape in Karatsu City, running along Route Grand Bleu with views of the Genkai Sea coastline, passing through Itoshima City, and finishing in Tenjin, the heart of Fukuoka City.

STAGE 2 Oita-Kumamoto | Sunday, October 11

A roughly 128km line race starting in front of Bungo-Ono City Hall, passing tourist attractions like Harajiri Falls and Kuju Kogen. It then heads south on the Yamanami Highway, racing through the magnificent landscapes of the Aso Caldera ridgelines and grasslands, finishing at Minamiaso Village Hall.

STAGE 3 Miyazaki Nichinan | Monday, October 12 (Holiday)

A roughly 124km line race showcasing the tropical charm of Miyazaki. Starting in front of the Hinata Miyazaki Prefectural Comprehensive Sports Park, it heads south along the Nichinan Coast, completes two laps of the Obi circuit in Nichinan City, and finishes in front of the Miyazaki Prefectural Government Office.

Make Kyushu Sustainable ~For the Sustainable Future of Kyushu~

The Tour de Kyushu Association, as one of the 80 founding signatories, has signed the UCI Climate Action Charter, which outlines the commitments for cycling organizations to achieve a decarbonized society.

As an event contributing to the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations, we are committed to environmentally friendly event operations.

We will host this unique event to showcase the magnificent nature and culture exclusive to Kyushu to the world, demonstrating a vision for the future.
