MyNavi Tour de Kyushu 2023 “Safety Marshals” wanted!
The UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale de I’Cyclistique) accredited cycle road race “Mynavi Tour de Kyushu 2023” will be held for the first time in October this year. In order to ensure the safety of the race, the organizers are looking for “safety marshals” to help direct traffic, guide spectators, and provide information along the course.
Safety marshals are responsible for ensuring the safety of race spectators and passersby, guiding vehicles to prevent them from entering the course, and setting up equipment and materials along the course. By supporting event operation this way, they protect the safety of riders and spectators, playing an important role in cycle road races around the world.
The Mynavi Tour de Kyushu 2023, set to take place on the enchanting island of Kyushu, will witness intense competition among world-class professional teams. Through this event, we aim to showcase the stunning nature and rich culture of Kyushu to both domestic and international audiences, thereby contributing to the promotion of cycle tourism. Additionally, our goal is to foster the growth of cycling culture within the region.
This event holds a symbolic significance as it represents Kyushu’s resilience and recovery from the natural disasters that have impacted the area in recent years. By hosting the Tour de Kyushu, we aim to demonstrate the spirit of perseverance and revitalization, highlighting the strength and beauty of Kyushu despite the challenges faced.
We look forward to welcoming participants and spectators alike, as we come together to celebrate the spirit of cycling, appreciate Kyushu’s natural wonders, and support the ongoing development and promotion of this remarkable region.
We are thrilled to announce that we are actively recruiting over 2000 safety marshals for the Fukuoka and Kumamoto areas. We extend our invitation not only to companies and sports organizations but also to groups of family and friends who are eager to participate. This is a chance to actively engage in the event, witness the thrilling race action up close, and make unforgettable memories with your family and friends.
As a safety marshal, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and secure execution of the event. Your dedication and contribution will help create a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
We appreciate your commitment and look forward to working hand in hand to make this new cycle road race in Kyushu an outstanding success, promoting community engagement, and leaving a positive impact on Kyushu.
