MAKE KYUSHU SUSTAINABLE

GOALS OF THE TOUR DE KYUSHU

The "Tour de Kyushu," set to take place in October 2025, is one of Japan's premier cycle road races, unfolding across various prefectures in Kyushu.

This event aims to be more than just a sports competition. It will showcase Kyushu's unique natural beauty and cultural heritage to a domestic and international audience, symbolizing recovery from past disasters and envisioning a sustainable future.
The goal is to transcend traditional cycling events by incorporating activities aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting a sustainable future for Kyushu. These include operations with less environmental impact, consideration for the natural environment, and the use and protection of Kyushu's abundant water resources.

As part of this effort, the event has pledged support for the UCI Climate Action Charter and has signed the commitment as one of the 80 founding members of the initiative.
