MESSAGE

We are proud to announce the upcoming full-scale cycling road race in my hometown, Kyushu. This event symbolizes our resilience and recovery from the recent disasters, including heavy rainfall, mudslides, flooding, major earthquakes, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The inaugural race will span Fukuoka, Kumamoto, and Oita prefectures. The starting point holds a special place in my heart: the Kitakyushu Media Dome, the very birthplace of bicycle racing. Some sections of the racecourse even served as my training ground during my active cycling days.
Our hope is that Kyushu will welcome numerous tourists and cyclists to witness world-class competition and experience the thrill of cycling firsthand. We are dedicated to sharing the passion for cycling and showcasing the beauty of Kyushu to a global audience.
