WHAT IS THE SPORTS PROMOTION LOTTERY GRANT

Sports promotion lottery grants are provided to projects for the promotion of sports conducted by local governments and sports organizations based on the proceeds from the sale of sports lottery tickets. The subsidies are used for the promotion of sports in Japan, such as training of athletes and coaches, grass turfing of sports grounds, and improvement of local sports facilities.
